Radical Nostalgia - a Case of Organized Rememory

A group of us gathered at a recently demolished room, now swallowed up
by the surrounding forest. A year ago the forest department had claimed
that the building stood on their land – a violation.

More than ten years ago we had spent entire nights there together
listening to a mixed tape over and over again. A neatly inscribed title on
the tape read "Guddu Copy" - no song titles, nothing else. Now that the
room had been destroyed, its memory a specter, had become
synchronous with that tape.

We had decided to come – it happened to be pouring – find this place
again and somehow channel it. Like mediums on a moonless night we
would materialize a moment that had passed.

However we had arrived with new friends who did not share our nostalgia,
at a different moment in our lives, and, at what was bound to be a different
place (we got lost at least once trying to find it.)

This audio track is a result (not recollection, nor narrative) of that night.
